About Julie McKay

Julie McKay is the Creative Director of Haven Bereavement Doulas. Her interest in women’s health began after she learned about the benefits of women charting their cycles. She then trained as a FertilityCare Practitioner, teaching women to track biomarkers to chart their cycles and gain insight into the workings of their bodies. She is a writer who focuses on women’s health, family, and theology. She also serves her community as the leader of a peer-to-peer babywearing group. She loves sharing babywearing with both moms and dads, so they can care for themselves while meeting the needs of their babies (and toddlers) and go on family adventures with greater ease.

Julie is a Haven-trained Bereavement Doula. She lives with her family in Michigan. She holds a B.S. degree in Zoology. You can learn more about her at julierosemckay.com.
